You can read some of “Boston T. Party”’s books online via the Internet Archive. This one was published in 1997, and it is an absolutely pristine collection of all the various wingnut paranoias of the Clinton era

@jalefkowit “hologram of liberty” is quite some title
-
@exchgr I’m looking over the table of contents of “Hologram of Liberty” here, and it looks like everything you would expect from the title

@exchgr One section is titled “So, what is my point?”, which seems like a bad question to have to ask in your own book

You can tell the above book is some real ‘90s shit because it has an entire chapter devoted to proper tradecraft when using a pager

@jalefkowit I remember how the government was evil until around 2000, then it wasn’t until about 2008, and then it was again, and then they stopped talking about that in 2017
-
@flyingsaceur The privacy book has a whole section on how to stash your guns away so they’ll be safe from the coming mass gun confiscation, which from the vantage point of 2024 is kind of darkly hilarious

@jalefkowit Fun fact, I have met Boston IRL. Pre the 9/11 "a bunch of us libertarians are fascists now" vibeshift, the flavor of anarchist I was then overlapped some with lib-anarchists, and I attended events run by some libertarian-utopians. Boston (he went by that among us) came to an event to teach intro-to-riflery courses and sell his books.
He was very dark, vibe a lot more violent than our group. He wouldn't talk to me because I was too fat; he saw physical fitness as immoral. Fun guy.
