@jmcrookston A 30% reduction in symptomatic illness in the age group most likely to have asymptomatic infections is not very impressive. If anything this shows how half assed this approach is for Covid. I wouldn’t at all be surprised if it has close to no effect on covid transmission (which is fast and efficient with close interaction) and the reduced illness is from other less much less infectious aerosols that rely more on concentrating over time indoors.

@echanda Ah, but you don't worry about mal heuer or mal aire anymore, the common worries only a couple of centuries worth of generations ago. Now we know what causes malaria: the chemical reaction between mosquitoes and standing water.
(As an aside, while germ theory is just a theory, malaria is anything but just.)
