I love Techmeme and visit it multiple times every day, but I do miss the coverage of little startups and side-projects of developers that it had in the early days. This is more a reflection of the times than on Techmeme itself (which, again, is one of my favourite websites). But I guess that’s part of the attraction of Mastodon: I can discover cool new apps and sites, rather than be peppered with the latest Musk PR stunt or whatever the fuck Meta and Apple are doing on any given day.
