No they wouldn't because instance moderators block them. We have had bot swarm attacks and they get repulsed because the Fediverse has real distributed moderation. Bluesky is overwhelmed because they can not afford to moderate their network. Here, that function is franchised to thousands of independent entities.
Sure, we will have these kinds of challenges, but we are better architected to deal with them since our distributed architecture is real, not just notional.
