Instead of trying to limit 3rd party developers, I'm going to embrace them.
Working on the API docs now.
The loops community will find the best app(s) for them, and that's all that really matters.
Putting people first is amazing, it's that "magic" that makes the fediverse so special.

@dansup why would you race against 3rd party devs if the goal is for this to be open source? Excited for all future updates for Loops!

@Im_Dylan well that was my thought process until I remembered why I'm doing this, thus that post.
Instead of trying to limit Loops to official clients only, and play war games with the API, I'd rather just embrace them and work together.
you don't typically see this type of mindset, but the fediverse isn't normal.
