@trwnh If you want words broken up like this, but with hyphens at the breaks, you can use the soft hyphen character. It's ­ in HTML.

Edit: Found this about it: https://jen4web.substack.com/p/wbr – basically, <wbr/> has no hyphens, so the use cases are fewer as it’s not really for use within words, at least in languages that use hyphens to break words across lines.

@nclm @y6nH one difference is that soft hyphenation counts as a character, but wbr doesn't. so for example, wbr won't change the innerText of an HTML node, but soft hyphenation will.
