I think #JavaScript could really use a `getElementsByIds`. It would remove the redundancy of needing multiple lines of `document.getElementById`. You could then deconstruct into variables.

@zachleat @khalidabuhakmeh it's sad to see that third-party libraries are still dictating the fate of the web, but I get the reasoning behind the name change, adding methods to a class prototype was an awful design choice to begin with.
