so good ... FBI seized two of Eric Adams' work phones but he didn't have his personal device on him. So he changed the passcode on his personal device then told the FBI he forgot his password

@jasonkoebler that sounds like the typical advice to "never give your phone to a cop", "you don't have to tell them your passcode", “disable face id”?

@galonsky @jasonkoebler What I was always told is that you have a Fifth Amendment right to not disclose a password/passcode, but that right does not extend to biometric markers (your face, your fingerprint).
So now I'm wondering why Adams didn't just plead the Fifth when they asked him for the passcode.
