@GovTrack he's going to be a member *again* on Jan 3, right? He needs to be to vote for Johnson for speaker. The house will be too close for all three house GOP noms to not be. Only when the confirmation comes thru, if it does, will he resign again.

@PizzaDemon Well, he said in resignation letter that he did not intend to take the seat he just won. But there’s a lot of time between now and then. We’re not making any predictions on what happens next.
