@fasnix you just said it, its not reliable.
Yes I'm building several platforms and believe in it, but there are laws we have to abide by, and I wouldn't want to encourage any instance to deal with DCMA or legal action because I'm ripping a song and re-uploading it to peertube.
Invidious and the like are a gray area that I'm also not sure of, but I don't think its a big deal to share youtube links of a song.
Its not like its a fediverse specific thing that could be shared on peertube legally.

@fasnix oh no offence taken, its just that for some instances like this I don't think it makes sense to try and bypass youtube, but I agree invidious and peertube are vital services!
