Sen. Mullin also said as a defense of Hegseth that plenty of Senators come to work drunk and no one ever names them. As a government transparency group, we would welcome Sen. Mullin letting us know which Senators are coming to work unable to do the job due to drunkenness.

I would take this as Mullins admitting he's completely unqualified to be a Senator.

@GovTrack also, senators, unlike secdef, are not in the chain of command in a national security crisis. So if they’re drunk, and I would not be surprised a bit that they are, it would be much more of an issue in the job hegseth is up for anyway.

I suspect it would be a shorter list for the GOP members that are not drunk on the job.
