It's based on Mastodon's policy, with minor changes due to technical differences in the two apps.

I hope this properly represents the spirit of the project, which is to empower artists, put them in control of their data, and to reject all tracking technologies, ad-tech, surveillance capitalism, and the like.

If I've missed anything, or fallen short, please let me know.
