I wonder if any of the PCB makers can add dry-erase to a PCB. I want a PCB where you can write on it with dry erase marker, damn it

I'm gonna just design my PCB to fit on/around a small dry erase board, but it'd be color if they could just put the dry erase surface right onto the PCB
-
@foone ...I had a very random thought. Can you write on a PCB with a soapstone pencil?
I'm curious.
-
@foone
A big area of white silkscreen might do it? I've seen that done for eg marking student names, don't know how erasable it would be though. -
@silvermoon82 I may have to try it out. I wonder if I have any existing PCBs with white on them
-
@ann3nova probably! I've never tried it.
-
@foone I’m in print media and I can say this much : adhesive dry erase film is available in the print industry and we slap it on plastic signs all the time. The same stuff should adhere to circuit-board (g10, garolite)
The 3M dry erase film is called Post-it Super Sticky Dry Erase Surface and the 3M catalog number is 7100217884

@SteveYYC cool, thanks!
-
@foone haven't tried it & away from home, but I got some white solder mask boards from jlcpcb that sure look like they would dry erase. See between the keys here
-
@foone seems to work (a bit hard to clean between traces tho)
-
@piersg thanks for the confirmation!
