Halloween is official started.

Halloween is officially started. Already 6 trick or treaters. Guessing we may top 1500. I have 1700+ things to hand out. #halloween
(And yes we seriously get trick or treaters before 5pm and the last if I still have anything will leave the block after 10pm)
-
Now have had over 130 kids (and that again adults) by 6:15 eh 145 now #halloween
-
Out of candy around 8pm but still have other things. 990+ so far #halloween
-
And I’m out. Once again didn’t make it past 8:20pm #halloween
-
Also may have been 1000 more than I thought. Not sure. It was and remains insane. Next year have to buy twice as much as I think I’ll need. Sigh #halloween
-
It is 9pm all my neighbors are also out of candy yet every parking space for blocks is taken, cars are driving at 5mph (if that) and the sidewalks are full. Still probably a few hundred people walking the block.
And the photo doesn’t include the soundtrack. #halloween

And this is one of the many custom made displays on my block. Two of those skeletons have animatronics one apparently a fountain and appearing to vomit. With many more details. #halloween

@GuyDudeman I live in one of “those neighborhoods” where people drive from all over to trick or treat on my our block and to see the displays. For the past few years we have had more people every year. I would guess we had at least 1500 and likely closer to 2000+ kids (many of whom were with 2-4 adults) this year.
(Based on the last house handing out candy had bought close to 2500 pieces of candy and at 9:30pm only had a small bowl left)
