Every year, I write a remembrance on the anniversary of this date. This year, I went a little deeper, and shared what I wish I could tell everyone who was too young to remember the day. @anildash I woke to the news in Chicago and I had a client who had just left the World Trade Center that morning. I was in NYC a few months after (now I can’t recall exactly why I think for a conference and/or work) and I remember the smell and the debris and the flyers that were still up. My now brother in law saw the second plane fly over from his and my sister’s place in the lower east side that morning.
