Having said that, Siri searching a Vector DB (sorry, “Semantic Index”) and a list of Intents implementation is potentially quite useful, and Virtual Private Cloud is also fascinating. But the way Apple is using hedging language (it’s beta! it’s coming later!) makes me think that they‘re still struggling to make the feature compelling.
I think I’ll upgrade my iPhone 14 Pro to a 16 Pro for the camera features (as usual), especially now that #Halide has a bypass to most of the post-processing pipeline. I’ll give the AI-driven features a fair shake whenever they become available and see how they work.

@drahardja I’m going to probably upgrade because my phone is hitting the end of useful life (iPhone 11 pro max - gotten very good value from it since I’ve had since soon after the 11 was released)
But the AI stuff doesn’t excite me all that much - I am interested in the camera button which looks very useful and the improvements in everything over my 11 will be meaningful (though it means changing my charging patterns)
