@Vivaldi thanks for leaving the option to make tabs look like tabs. Tabs as buttons is terrible design.
-
@Vivaldi that’s a good chunk of my morning gone. Playing with new things!

@Vivaldi The update solved my problem, that the compact view didn’t worked. THANK YOU!
-
@Vivaldi Me before the update: yeah, whatever. How good can it be? Me 10 minutes after the update: OMG I love everything about it!
-
@Vivaldi Any plans for extensions in the mobile version?
-
@Vivaldi Dashboard site zoom is fixed at 100% --> No usage for me. Too bad.
-
@Vivaldi According to Web Minidisc Pro, the Vivaldi implementation of WebUSB is broken.
Any chance of fixing it? https://web.minidisc.wiki

@Lu_Die_Milchkuh Unless Chromium changes something in their code, it's unfortunately not feasible for us to support extensions on mobile.

@Vivaldi Man!! what's wrong with you? Why are you ruining that unique Vivaldi UI? Don't try to be Chrome. Also why this browser auto-update even if I turned it off? I don't like the new UI so I turned off auto update but it updates itself every time. So what's the point of that option!!
The new features are very cool and useful but the UI sucks.

@Vivaldi None of the official documentation has helped me understand what on Earth is a floating tab.
-
@Vivaldi All the round corners - I hope you won't get sued by iApple!
-
That's one thing I've come to appreciate about Vivaldi. They will introduce UI changes, but they give you the option to keep it like it was *through the settings*.
I like the compact view better, with no rounded corners, so that's how I'm keeping it for now.
I know they also allow CSS modifications (via vivaldi://experiments), but I haven't needed to use them yet. For Firefox, it was a necessity.
-
Another thing I appreciate is the new icons on the side toolbar. The previous ones were nice but half the time I wasn't sure what things were and had to rely on the tooltip.
Now it's more obvious what each one represents.

@Vivaldi Unfortunately 1 thing is missing: Vivaldi used to be able to follow the system theme. Now it's just... grey

@carturo222 Check out https://tips.vivaldi.net/tip-581/. The new tab design is part of the user interface density setting.
