At the start of the school year, my son‘s chemistry teacher told her students that “chemistry is magic! 🪄” Now, she’s doing lots of experiments – but they regularly fail.

The class has started calling the subject “alchemy” now…

@matthiasott Reminds me of my physics class at school: the equipment was so outdated that we made the experiment but the teacher always had to tell us before what outcome we should see but we couldn’t in the real experiment because the equipment always failed terribly
