If anyone wants to better understand that, I think the attached conversation we had would be very useful.

According to the admin of that server, if you don't want cub-porn (furry lolicon / shotacon) on your timeline, you should block the following servers...

Again, these were given to me by the Admin of the server, with the explicit statement that they are servers for people who draw porn of underaged furry characters. They are anti-contact, and gave these in good faith, so I heavily discourage anyone from harassing them: just block and move on.

Still not sure what to think in general about this loli porn thing.
Mainly, I am not entirely convinced whether drawn underage porn helps these people to actually not live their fantasies and harm somebody
or
whether there might be also some kind of pipeline for some people so that being part of such a community normalizes pedophilia and potentially lead to real-world actions.

Anyway, just crossed my head. Don't know whether there are meaningful studies about this.

Anyway, we don't want this stuff to enter our timeline, so the interaction is deeply appreciated.
And treating people like humans is probably in any case the best one can do.

They are complicated and ballparky, because of the issues with studying highly stigmatized criminal-adjacent disorders, but we have some numbers.

Basically, current thought is that it's likely most people with the disorder never actually offend, or at least not in an overt way, and it's possible that most offenders don't even have real pedophilia and are picking children as victims because they are vulnerable. Most pedophiles, in my experience, are terrified of offending, but the offenders and other pro-contact ones are the loudest. (and usually Nazis)

Yeah a lot of people I've talked to share the same thing. Some say if consent was involved it shouldn't be considered offending but I wouldn't even touch that subject with a 50 foot pole

From my mod-experience, having to wade sometimes through loli/CSAM/MAP-instances, I really often stumble over disgustingly aggressive Nazi-pedos out there. Of course I can't give numbers, but it caught definitely my attention. Mustn't be a direct relation, can be a cultural thing of how personalities are shaped in the darker areas of the web.

Of course, there is also the "death penalty for child abusers"-discourse, promoted by some other right-wing/nazi groups.
(which, just for the record, actually doesn't help at all, because most abuses are conducted by adults close to the kids. The perspective of having this person executed decreases the probability that the kids search help).

Yeah, when I say that there is a strong overlap between Naziism and pro-contact, I'm talking about the conversations I see on hardcore Nazi servers about wanting to marry 12-year-old girls. I think it's a result of them thinking of other people, not as people, but as pieces in some larger game.

@Raccoon @Mud Well I'll have to keep that in mind when I take administrative actions against users. Naziism has never been welcomed in any type of community I've ran before. I also didn't know there was a strong overlap between pro-contact and Naziism

In my view forced marriage is a type of abuse that should be heavily scrutinized. People are people not objects or pieces in a game

I was willing to allow it for a bit so we could have the conversation, but I really don't want someone whose main thing is administrating a pedo server on here.
