I think I have just confirmed again that our older cat #whiskers prefers her food warmed. She only consumes, and manages to keep down, paté these days.
But IT SMELLS SO BAD

you need to find better cat food. if you think it smells bad, i promise your cat thinks it's worse.
if i open a can of cat food and it doesn't smell like something i would eat if it were made for human consumption, the cats definitely don't like it and won't eat it.
idk about other cats, but Ginger and Buster also don't care for wet food that's dry. it needs to be fatty and juicy.

@diedofheartbreak she loves it warmed up and generally likes the paté, not the gravy. She definitely has preferences. You do make me wonder about the smell though!

@chris My cat is 18. Any solid food comes back up. No chunks allowed, only paté. Eats better than me.
