One reason this 1985 video for a Yoko Ono song is of interest is that it was directed by Zbigniew Rybczyński & techniques also he used a year earlier in the making of Close to the Edit video for The Art of Noise are evident here. #video #music #80s

@emsquared quite reminiscent of contemporary period Grace Jones like “I’m Not Perfect (But I’m Perfect for You)”
-
@bobthomson70 I think Gracie is a league above this musically. It's no 'walking in thin ice' (which Lennon was working on but hours before his untimely death) but not bad for 1985. The video bigs it up a lot I feel.

@emsquared I'm afraid that this will always be my favourite Yoko Ono music video...

@Peternimmo Ha. Very catchy. Still screaming . What *is* she like?
-
@emsquared I still miss Glasgow Yoko Ono on Twitter!
-
@Peternimmo Ha. I sadly never ran into her when I was on there. Sounds like that'd be right up my street too.
-
@emsquared it was very funny and surreal. Aphorisms with added pudding suppers
-
@emsquared "Curl inside the shopping trolley of TK Max. Embrace the security guard who frees you. He is your mother. It was the womb of the world."
“Glasgow foxes are shrieking. Hide near discarded chicken products behind bins, then spray paint foraging cubs with glitter. Show them your feet. It reminds them we are dreams” -
@Peternimmo Brilliant. I clearly missed out.
