I've ended up removing the keyboard and connecting a usb keyboard to actually use it!The seller is being good, I suggested sending me just a replacement keyboard rather than returning the entire device but that will have to wait until monday.
no I don't know what to do with it!

I've got debian on it, but I don't want to do much more because then I'll have to wipe it again if I need to return it...
but also playing with a new toy is fun!

@[email protected] the naive fix is to re-seat the keyboard cable. probably won't work, though. sounds more like coffee got in there
