Luckily alternatives are finally not as painful to adopt. Was happy paying a little to support Docker for convenience they provide. But $60 -> $108 is steep

@geerlingguy If I would need to guess, I would say that both HR and Docker Hub cost make Docker Inc unsustainable and trigger cost increases. And given the growth rate, I don't see how they will be able to turn that around.
I wonder what will happen, when they discontinue free Docker Hub resources.

@sheogorath @geerlingguy I did an initiative to prune old images from our paid Docker hub and it proved to be quite difficult since I kept getting rate limited with all the API calls necessary to identify and delete the refs. Between that and being stingy with pull metrics, it's hard to be a good customer and clean up after yourself. The Docker hub cli is also proprietary and not available in Docker hub!
Feels like a lot of unforced errors.
