*(This is absolutely unacceptable per my upbringing. I do own a suit. There's very little occasion to wear it unless I'm performing a wedding, etc. It's overkill for most speaking, job interviews, etc., here.)

I honestly do not mind wearing a suit jacket and slacks. It's ties I despise. They serve no functional purpose at all. It's like being choked by a really weak person all day.

@vwbusguy Same thing here, I've got a couple suits in the closet, but I haven't broken one out in probably a decade, for anything other than a wedding or funeral.
Get funny looks, in a suit around here, unless you *happen* to be in a lawyers office, or bank, or some such.
