I just came THIS close to falling for a phish/scam email. PayPal payment authorization, contact if it's a fraud. It was a fraud. The ‘contact if it is fraud' framing almost got me.

Be careful out there.

@jon_alper I’m so paranoid that if I think something’s a scame (it always is), I go to the website manually and find the communication there… and if I don’t see it, I can safely nuke it from email, or, if it is, and I can’t trace it to a direct action on my part, I alert the website.
