Everyone’s creaming their jeans about fucking USB-C. Lightning port is more durable! I am less happy!

@pmcg is it? All my lightning ports fray after like, 6 months of mostly static usage (ie, plugged into the wall not moving, just plugged and unplugged from the device). Frankly, I don’t have enough C cables to observe a pattern.

@pmcg ah. In that case, i have yet to have any of them die on me, so I have no personal experience with reliability. Occasionally I have had to delint the lightning port tho.

Well just for a paranoia perspective, and I shall fail to to be polite. Eh. The male end of Lightning plug is obvious. If it breaks, you need a new cable.
USB-C is more elaborate. It's kinda like fucking a fleshlight inside of a lady. There's a lot of things that can break off.
