I have finally switched my default browser from "Doesn't Work" (Safari) to "Ugly" (Firefox). Hopefully, it will go well.

There's already wonderful friction with "saved web apps" - when I download a link from Fastmail, it opens in Firefox.
My understanding is that Firefox does not support PWAs? The add-on ecosystem seems rife with scams and abandonware, so I'm not sure where to even begin.
My hope is that the 1password plugin will work, which it doesn't really on Safari.

@davetron5000 I'm also a FF user (derivative… Waterfox). I solved the ugly problem as best I could by changing a lot of the theme defaults… like adding back a normal (pre-unified) titlebar, putting the tabs below the actions, adding the info/status bar at the bottom, and changing the theme to be more OSX-like.
I think I'm using "Safari Generic 1.0" but with some tweaks.
It's still not 'actually native looking', but it's… 'better'. More usable at least.
