@aral Thank you for the screenshots. I absolutely remembered and searched for ties to Meta when I read the very first sentence of that post - couldn't find it on any page, I hoped that maybe, just maybe … they quietly removed it in shame and with guilt?
Sadly it still stares you in the eye on the front page after all.

I agree somewhat with Cory that arguing for systemic change is theoretically better than a boycott, but 1) it doesn't help if a platform has already enshittified, 2) BlueSky is new: everyone is starting again so it's not too late in the network effect and 3) AT protocol is fundamentally designed to not federate properly unless you can afford the same infrastructure: no amount of tweaks and patches can fix it, so they can't do it externally!
