How is it possible right now, at this minute, that the New York Times does not have a story up about Dick Cheney endorsing Kamala Harris?

Totally get it. But this is just so comically blatant.

as was that then, i was loosing my fucking mind, everyday it became more and more obvious the new york fucking times wasn't going to print a single story about the New York City Trumps construction company, the The New York City KKK, and the The New York City Mafia. this is childs play to that, nothing can beat that ever in a million years.

If you look you will see that calling out the New York Times bias is this account's constant refrain, but this is so over the top and obvious it's breathtaking.

@mastodonmigration @judah It’s never bad to keep pointing it out, in my opinion.
It’s like when a magazine posts how to cook a turkey every Thanksgiving. Maybe lots of people know but there are always people new to the game that don’t.

You are preaching to the choir. But this is just so bloody obvious. And the day after A.G.'s big op-ed. What a clown show!

It's truly amazing. Know a college professor, very liberal guy, who has subscribed to the New York Times for 40 years and takes what they say as gospel. He refuses to believe, as a matter of faith, that the 'paper of record' would practice anything other than the pinnacle of journalistic ethics. Certain even this absurdity won't shake his faith. So, we keep pointing it out.

@mastodonmigration Nothing has happened, the NYTimes has always been garbage.

Would say they have always been garbage, but they were better at disguising it.

@mastodonmigration @judah Quite a few people have definitely not caught on. I come here to catch the things I miss. I didn’t notice it so I appreciate it being posted out.
No one person can catch everything.

@mastodonmigration
OK. I kinda get your target, but I mostly don't. I didn't look closely at the account I was responding to: I do know you're one of the "good guys".Perhaps I'm too old and jaded? But I have very good reasons for my beliefs and attitudes: they're based on many years of observation.
So... nothing immoral that the NYT or any other form of corporate media does is "breathtaking". Nothing. Especially these days.

I think that reply to you belongs in the Reply Guy Hall of Fame.

Yeah. Went there looking for how they might have soft peddled the endorsement, and certainly we will get to see that in due time, but nothing. Nothing at all. Was not expecting that.

That would explain it, but no, feel like this one is entirely on A.G..

Fair enough. Keep slugging! Friends don't let friends read the New York Times.

Meh...
"... how profoundly the Republican Party has shifted since Mr. Cheney was in power. Back then, his brand of conservatism — which prioritized hawkishness on foreign policy, and an unapologetic allegiance to big business and the political establishment — defined the G.O.P. Mr. Trump’s rise has changed all that, pushing the party in a more isolationist and populist direction, making the establishment into a villain and unleashing a new coarseness that now dominates Republican politics."
-
@mastodonmigration NYT is trying their best to make this into a pro Trump story. Like everything else they do.
-
Yup. Was curious how they were going to do that. Pretty sweet pivot. That's what must have taken so long to noodle.
-
@mastodonmigration @franktaber Well, Dick Cheney *is* a villain. It's just that Trump is even worse.
