@Nerdfest That's the route I'm looking at going too. I don't really want to be forced into Apple/Google/Amazon ecosystems.

I think my first trial will be some bluetooth temperature sensors I found that I can (hopefully) put in my deep freezer. And water sensors for my basement in case the pumps die.

@shawnhooper @Nerdfest @Catelli wife-acceptance-factor (or equivalent)is a good moderating factor, but does tend to mean you push things into production on Friday evening, which may result in lost saturdays and unintentional bright lights for the cat.
