She uses a term I learned recently , "bonus" instead of "step".
It was my bonus daughter who taught it to me. She lives in SC. It's such a better, connecting word, binding instead of separating.
This speech by Alicia Keyes was the first time I heard anyone else use it.

Wow, there are so many literate people among the Democrats.
There is such a difference between listening to them and listening to speakers at a rally of the Golden Spoon Bully.
