@samir unless you've gotta grind the beans by hand then it's kinda annoying

@thisismissem Oh, forgot about that. It’s been a few years for me!
(I probably ground a lot of coffee beans last time I was at SoCraTes, but I have managed to block out that memory.)

@samir heh, yeah. I really need to check @CoffeeGeek and find a decent home burr grinder

@thisismissem You might find this useful too: https://youtu.be/3VohJapkObs

@samir yeah, saw that, everything was too expensive for me

@thisismissem Very fair.
Seems that he’s just published a new one with sub-£250 espresso grinders, if that’s what you’re making. I agree that CoffeeGeek will probably be more comprehensive though.
-
@samir I was mostly looking at those single cup portable electric burr mills

@thisismissem Oh, can you get them with burrs? I’ve only seen blades, but I guess I’m a few years out of date.
Sounds perfect. I hope you find an excellent one.

@samir I think so?

@thisismissem I think you are probably more clued in than me. ^_^
I bought a Niche Zero about 5 years ago, and I plan on making it last my entire life, give or take. So apart from watching Hoffmann's videos because I find him pretty funny, I don't know what I'm talking about.

@samir ooffh, that grinder would be hella expensive here:
> Important: All orders shipped outside of the UK ARE NOT charged UK VAT but may be charged local taxes and duties at the applicable rates.So it'd likely get slapped with 50% taxes on top, so it'd cost €805 instead of ~€500
