@thisismissem Looking at "Search Engines" kind of shows the problem though: Out of 6 alternatives, 4 are just frontends for Bing, 1 is a frontend for Google, and 1 "combines search results from other providers".

@mattesmohr @thisismissem I am not ignoring anything at all, I am currently thinking how to get rid of google by migrating my private mail account away from Gmail and Photos to a self-hosted alternative. But this little detail on the website catched my eye. Why not use the alternatives on their doorstep?

We're a complete european alternative to googlemaps. Somehow we're not (yet) on their list, but you can find us here on Fedi too.
