@TechConnectify hehe, I know, I was pulling your leg I imagine the investment would be at least an order of magnitude higher for even a cheaper mini split.
Btw. Here, across the pond, blue or red (16A - 32A) beefy 1-3 phase IEC 60309 sockets seem to be rather common in garages and workshops. Power tools and car charges usually come with those plugs attached from the factory.
I thought that this was an international standard, are those plugs/receptacles even a thing in the US?

@mishunika I think they show up in certain industrial applications (stage lighting comes to mind) but I don't believe they are approved for permanent installation anywhere.
