The lightning bolt may not be the best one, if you pick one from https://fontawesome.com/v5/search let me know an i can update it, and I can remove the octothorpe from the sidebar, but I thought that was cool branding aspect as people will use that hashtag or hopefully remember it.

@dansup the creator I found out something interesting from @julian. Apparently, Threads will only connect to your server if you implement the Mastodon API for public feeds. So that means they will only connect with Mastodon and apps that use Mastodon's API, unless they make an exception for a platform.
