Make sure to cram AS MUCH JAVASCRIPT AS POSSIBLE into your customer cancellation pipelines. That way, when even the smallest hiccup occurs with your web infrastructure, your customers will be so annoyed at trying to cancel, they'll decide cancelling isn't worth their time and just keep paying you month after month.
It's that easy! Win win!

Also, you can INCREASE your retention rate while DECREASING costs with this ONE LITTLE TRICK:
Come closer...
[hushed tones] make sure the employees who can cancel a customer account have absolutely no access to the systems which can cancel customer payments. By separating concerns, you can literally keep billing people after they think they quit your service!
No losers but the customers, am I right?!?!
