Agreed. Lets apply that to politics too while we're at it.

I have decided that online (food) recipe sites are now just all AI generated content. A significant percent of recipes now either don't turn out right, or are obviously absurd from either the ingredients or instructions.
It's incredibly frustrating, and honestly can generate significant food and energy waste; "tagged" is the least we should do; I'd advocate for "illegal" for much online content: news, recipes, self-help, how-to's... some of this shit can actually harm people and animals. Some AI generated recipe for homemade dog food is going to include a bunch of chocolate, and some idiot is going to follow it, and it'll be the innocent animal that suffers.
Human generated content isn't immune, but AI makes the problem an order of magnitude worse.

How would we determine whether or not the content had been generated by AI?

PSA: this is a semantic image, i.e. it's meaningful rather than just decorative. To make it accessible always try to include a text description with it. In this case: what's written on the sign.
