I had a good friend who was a super fan (she has since rewritten history and denies it but she had a bookshelf—read: shrine—devoted to them) and she made me watch the first one with her. I didn’t know about the whole sparkle thing so when that happened I burst out laughing and she got pouty, lol. Still love her.

I just went to my video search app and before I could finish her name the autocomplete was "anna kendrick cup song", and that's the only video of hers I already know. I haven't watched Twilight but she's probably more talented than that.

I think I watched that rifftrax. Is that the one where her dad says 'sit down, have some plaid'? I quote that like once a month

I had the memorable experience of watching the first movie in the theatre's. When the apple scene happened a bunch of teenage girls started ooohing and aaahing and I laughed so hard. Then one of my friends smacked my shoulder. I have no regrets.

Sounds plausible. The quote I always use is “LIIIINE!” from the dinner table scene where the camera jumps back and forth between them but they don’t speak for like 5 minutes.

My kids love the cup song. That's when I learned about her.
Then a few years later, some friends and I had a "bad movie night" where we watch movies and take shots during specific bad scenes, and the film was twilight. Anna Kendrick is young in the film (still baby faced) and incredibly forgettable when compared to all the other wacky scenes.

Every twilight fan I've met loves the wack. I have never met anybody who wholeheartedly loves the series as a true romance. They see it as a Romeo/Juliet with glitter vampires and how the series never breaks kayfabe.
