His imdb page is suprisingly prolific https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0000538/ 151 roles since 1973 is a pretty damn good run.

My favourite role of his (outside of Trek) is as the Elvis-loving dad in The Commitments.

Call him ‘Daddy’. Everyone calls him Daddy.
-
Really liked him in Hell on Wheels. Surprisingly believable as Thomas Durant.
-
The first thing I ever saw him in was “Intermission”, so you can imagine my shock upon discovering him on Trek a couple years ago.

That was such a good movie. I must give it a rewatch.

Oh no! You can’t break the laws of physic; O’Brien MUST suffer! Take it away before the universe suffers a subspace quasar tachyon inversion burst collapse to the hull or something.

First time I saw him outside Star Trek was in a Scarlett O'Hara TV miniseries.
Imagine my surprise when he's driving her around in a horse and buggy: an olde time transporter chief!
