When the only thing you can offer is "make it harder for Republicans" you've already lost.

Naw, it's gonna be "What did you do during the genocide in Gaza?"

I mean, you do that whether you vote or not. But when you try to tell people that they have to do more than vote, they don't like it.

People did vote, though. They just voted for Trump.

"Fall in love, fall in line," indeed. Guess there's just no completing with a cult of personality.

We lost with Citizens United, but it isn’t nothing to fight to keep things from getting worse

One side is demonstrably worse in literally every political action/debate. I'm no Democrat but this both sides stuff has to stop if we're ever going to make progress.

They did, he won two terms, and they learned absolutely nothing from it.

As an aside, I like how the original poster aged like milk. No one sees "The Great War" as great by those who survived it and by the future. It is not talked about positively in the same way as Napoleonic wars or the Second World War (except if you were an Axis soldier or civilian victim of war crimes of course).

That's only true if you believe one side. The Democrats have also repeatedly expanded surveillance just like the Republicans. There only seem to be a handful of congress people who are are concerned with privacy.

Not when you have a candidate who supports genocide and was trying to court billionaires, moderate Republicans, and the Cheneys. Towards the end there, I thought, "There really is nothing appealing about her now."
Right at the beginning, there was so much hope and enthusiasm, but then the DNC and their consultants stepped in and ruined everything.

I'm more concerned with poverty than I am with the surveillance state. It's already here and will never be rolled back. Things could still be done to alleviate poverty like universal healthcare, ubi, etc.
