Huh, despite the fact that over 40% of the UK's energy mix is from sustainable sources, these sources are priced at the same level as *gas*. What? Gas is majorly expensive to produce. How does this make sense? So we have all the drawbacks of renewables with all the drawbacks of fossil fuels.

Otherwise everyone would just increase their price to just below the break point anyway -

@erincandescent makes logical sense, especially in a market like Britain where even the grid isn’t owned by the state
