That he is able to physically perform in that moment, just after telling Ivana he is no longer sexually attracted to her, is also important: his addiction to diet pills, his lack of quality sleep, and his swollen belly have left him struggling with erectile dysfunction. The message here is clear: Only rape arouses this monster now."
