Bulgakov’s writing had everything I loved in literature: it is bizarre, moving, unpretentious and funny all at once, and it was devoid of all the things I hated about #Russian literature: the somber imperial self importance that weighs down Tolstoy and Dostoevsky.

However, since the full-scale war Bulgakov’s work has become a subject of intense controversy and those who considered his writing to be ‘free of ideology’ are now few and far between.

Отримав попередні доповіді щодо російського удару по Полтаві. За наявною зараз інформацією, дві балістичні ракети. Влучання по території учбового закладу і сусідньої лікарні. Була частково зруйнована одна з будівель Інституту звʼязку. Люди опинилися під завалами. Багатьох вдалося врятувати. Більш ніж 180 людей поранені. На жаль, багато загиблих. Станом на цей час відомо про 41 загиблого. Мої співчуття всім рідним та близьким. Я доручив провести повне та оперативне розслідування всіх обставин того, що сталося. Залучені всі необхідні служби до рятувальної операції. Я вдячний кожному й кожній, хто з перших хвилин після влучання допомагає людям, хто рятує життя.
