@nuthatch I had a suspicion that the USBC cable is really just wired for USB2 aka lightning port speed.
This now reminds me to go and look at my usbc cables and make sure they’re all actually thunderbolt cables (IIRC, the TB cables all show the bolt icon, as part of the spec)
