prosecutors appealed the lenient sentence of conor fitzpatrick AKA pompompurin AKA breachforums owner for his hacking and CSAM charges. court just published an opinion saying it agrees. says his recidivism is evidence that his sentence is not tough enough and autism is no excuse. this is the first time i have seen a court address the issue of lenient sentences of cybercriminals in this way. hopefully this moves the needle.
