@ryanc when optics used to cost 10 grand, you would want to percisely tune DB levels so you don't "burn out" your receivers.
When I can Get 10G BiDi from amazon for $50... SEND IT

@kajer I was a little worried about using optics rated for 2km for a link that's maybe 50 meters, lol.
Also, I have six pairs from the MDF to my office, that's probably enough right?

@ryanc you can get more by using Bidirectional optics. I have a 2 strand fiber ran at #campkajer, you saw it, and I use 2 pairs of BiDi for a 20Gb/s LACP I think those are also 2km+ and they are on a 200m fiber.
