I’m sitting in the doctor’s office waiting to receive my testosterone booster—a non-event for me as a cis male. Just another data point for the despicable cruelty of denying the same hormone to my trans brothers. All in the name of gaining political advantage by creating moral panic. Disgusting.

@hal_pomeranz it's pretty gross, I agree. And some will argue, well that's because it's elective if your trans.
But not only is that bullshit, but people have no problem with getting something like ozempic as an elective medication.

@codemonkeymike Me having low testosterone isn’t life-threatening. I could live a long life without testosterone supplements. That, to me, is the definition of elective.
The statistics around trans suicide suggest that not receiving gender-affirming care is life-threatening. So I call BS here too.
