Apparently Netflix doesn't allow you to download movies or shows on their Windows app anymore, why do we keep giving these assholes money? ️

@maxalmonte14 oh my, that’s terrible! All these companies doing their best to convert people to piracy!

@leroy yup, I guess they can't afford paying a small team to keep developing the Windows app, you know, with the record profits and all that, so they decided to put out a WebView wrapped into a native app and call it a day. They also got rid of the cast function on all mobile apps, so we are paying more for less functionality.

@maxalmonte14 oh damn! Honestly for me it’s mostly a Brooklyn99 viewer.

@leroy I rarely use it, my girlfriend is the one who uses it the most — and pays for it —, we just wanted to watch this reality show that is hosted by some of my favorite French rappers and since she doesn't have an internet plan at home (just mobile data) I was gonna to download it on my laptop to watch it on the weekend like we'd done before, but that's not an option anymore.

@maxalmonte14 that terrible! I’ve also noticed the streaming quality has decreased.
Everything is way ‘fuzzier’ and low resolution. Especially visible in dark-lit scenes
