@randahl The Trump campaign is commissioning fraud-adjacent polling to add to the national average, diluting Harris' polling data, Maybe take step back and look at the landscape again? Political communication it isn't. GOP are playing a numbers game that works surprisingly well, optically.

It is really important to keep this in mind. When we write stories premised on 'the polls are narrowing' we fall victim to the manipulation of the polls designed to create this narrative. It can both be true that Trump's political communication has a degree of effectiveness, and that Harris maintains a pretty steady lead when the GOP biased polls are discounted.
