Hey @pluralistic can you explain why you’re signatory to a really scammy-looking effort („Free Our Feeds“) to raise 4M Dollar via gofundme(!) instead of, say, a 501(c)3 or any method that doesn’t skim money off donations, in order to establish a second Bluesky instance? Rather than, e.g. support efforts like #Mastodon going NGO or @dansup bringing pixelfed and loops up to speed to receive influx from Insta and TikTok?
